I was worried they’d be stiff out of the box, but the leather and textile upper flexed perfectly from the first wear. They kept my feet bone-dry through a surprise rain shower on a three-mile loop.

The waterproof membrane held up perfectly through a muddy stream crossing, and my feet stayed bone-dry the whole afternoon. The leather-and-texture upper felt broken-in right out of the box, which was a pleasant surprise for a low-cut hiker.

Took these out on a rainy 10-mile loop and my feet stayed completely dry thanks to that TEXAPORE membrane, which honestly surprised me. The leather and textile upper feels light enough to forget I'm wearing hiking shoes.
