The two-layer shell kept me bone-dry through an afternoon of on-and-off downpours, and the fit is trim enough that I forgot I was wearing it over my base layer. Just pulled it out of the wash and it’s ready for the next storm, no fuss at all.

Took this jacket on a rainy 10-mile hike and stayed perfectly dry thanks to the sealed seams. The two-layer build feels light enough to pack away but handled the wind without any flapping.

Had to test this jacket in a sudden downpour on a ridge hike, and the water beaded right off the fabric without a drop getting through. The streamlined fit didn't feel bulky under my pack either, which made scrambling much easier than my old rain shell.
