I was pleasantly surprised by how breathable the double weave fabric stays on a hot climb, yet it held up perfectly against a few thorny bushwhacks. The wind resistance is a nice bonus for exposed ridge sections. Overall, they’ve become my go-to shorts for summer day hikes.

The Bermuda length is perfect—long enough to feel covered on the trail but not baggy or hot. I wore them through a windy ridge section and the double weave fabric totally blocked the gusts without any flapping. These are my new go-to for summer hikes.

I was worried the Bermuda length would look frumpy on me, but it hits just above the knee and moves well on rocky trails. The fabric is thicker than most shorts I own, which is nice for scrambling over boulders without worrying about snags. Only wish the pockets were a tad deeper for my phone.
