Took this out on a drizzly morning walk and the TEXAPORE fabric kept me completely dry without that clammy feeling you get from most waterproof shells. The TEXATHERM insulation is light but did the job at 5°C — I didn't need a mid-layer underneath.

I was surprised how breathable this jacket stays during a brisk morning hike, even with the insulation layer. The TEXAPORE fabric handled a sudden light shower without issue, and it packs down small enough for my daypack.

Stepped outside in a light drizzle and stayed perfectly dry, the waterproof fabric really does its job without feeling stuffy. The insulation kept me warm during my entire hike without adding bulk, which was exactly what I needed.
