FROST HAVEN COAT W

This coat is seriously warm for how light it feels—the Primaloft Black Rise insulation did the trick on a freezing hike last weekend. The waterproof fabric is also noticeably soft, not that stiff crinkly stuff you usually get. Really glad I went for it.

I was skeptical about a lightweight coat handling winter, but the PRIMALOFT BLACK RISE insulation kept me surprisingly warm during my morning commute. The TEXAPORE ECOSPHERE PRO fabric really is soft to the touch and handled a drizzle without letting any dampness through.

The fabric feels almost like a soft shell, not stiff or crinkly like most waterproof jackets I've tried. I wore it through a steady drizzle and stayed completely dry, and the Primaloft insulation kept me warm without any bulk.
