Took it on a rainy weekend hike and stayed completely dry despite a downpour. The two-layer build is light enough that I barely noticed I was wearing it, but it handled the wind and wet like a champ. Exactly the kind of jacket that makes you want to keep going further.

The hood adjustment is really well thought out—even with a helmet underneath it stays put without flopping around. Been wearing it on rainy trail runs and I stay perfectly dry, yet it doesn't trap heat. Already planning to take it on a longer trek next month.

For a 2-layer shell, it’s remarkably light and packable—I barely noticed it in my daypack until a sudden downpour hit and I was glad I’d grabbed it. The freedom of movement is real, too; no stiff fabric fighting me on scrambles.
