Finally pulled the trigger on a proper fleece midlayer and this one’s become my default for quick trail walks, the fabric feels robust yet breathes well under a shell. The print gives it a bit of character without screaming outdoorsy, which I appreciate for wearing to the pub after the hike.

The print on the chest is sharp and doesn’t crack after a few washes, which is rare for this kind of fleece. I’ve worn it on three hikes already, and it’s light enough to layer under a shell without feeling bulky. Exactly what I needed for spontaneous mornings out.
