WILD QUEST TEXAPORE MID W

The mid-cut height gives my ankles real support on rocky descents, and the TEXAPORE CORE kept my feet dry through a surprise stream crossing. They feel lighter than I expected for a trekking boot, so I’ve already worn them on three long hikes without any fatigue.

I was a bit worried about break-in time for a mid-cut boot, but the TEXARIDE midsole made them feel responsive and well-cushioned right out of the box, even on rocky sections. Happy with the purchase overall.

Put these through a couple of long, wet hikes and the TEXAPORE CORE kept my feet bone-dry without feeling clammy inside. The mid-cut support is solid enough for rocky terrain but the TEXARIDE cushioning makes them feel surprisingly light on the uphill.
