The fiber insulation kept me perfectly warm during a chilly morning on the lake—didn't even need to layer up. Wind didn't cut through at all, which made a huge difference on the exposed parts of my trip.

Took this out on a windy ridge hike and barely felt a chill — the TEXASHIELD CORE shell really does block gusts while the fiber insulation kept me warm without bulk. Jacket packs down small enough to stuff in my daypack, too.
