Used it on a rainy hike last weekend and the outer layer kept me completely dry while the fleece underneath was just the right warmth. The zippers are smooth and the detachable hood actually stays put in the wind.

The fleece layer zips out in seconds, and I love that the outer shell alone handles wind without feeling stiff. Wore it on a chilly morning bike ride and stayed warm the whole time, then just popped the fleece back in when the temperature dropped.
