I was surprised how warm this fleece feels on its own for such a lightweight piece. The material is noticeably durable against my backpack straps, and I love that I can zip it right into my shell when the wind picks up.

The system zipper is what sold me, and it works flawlessly with my existing hardshell. As a standalone piece, the fabric feels tough yet cozy, and I've already worn it through a few windy commutes without a chill.

Wore this fleece on its own during a chilly morning hike and stayed warm without overheating, but the real win is how easily it zips into my hardshell for windier days. The fabric feels dense and tough, yet it’s still flexible enough to move in.
