The EVA cushioning is just right—firm enough for rocky trails but soft on the knees during long descents. I’ve worn them on two muddy hikes and my feet stayed dry the whole time, which is exactly what I needed.

The midsole rebound is noticeable right out of the box—my feet feel less beat up after a full day of scrambling over rocks. EVA cushioning absorbs the jarring steps without making the shoe feel clunky, and the waterproofing held up through a stream crossing without a single damp sock.

Took these out on a rainy trail and my feet stayed completely dry thanks to the waterproof membrane, while the EVA cushioning made the rocky sections feel almost soft. The midsole has a nice springy rebound that keeps you moving, and they fit true to size right out of the box.
