CANYON SHIELD PARKA M

The zipper glides smoothly even with gloves on, which is rare for a parka this sturdy. I wore it through a freezing commute and the TEXAPORE CORE OXFORD fabric kept every gust out, plus the cut leaves room for a thick sweater underneath. Exactly the winter shield I was hoping for.

The TEXAPORE fabric handled a full day of freezing rain without soaking through, which was my biggest worry. I also love how the generous insulation lets me wear just a thin sweater underneath and still feel perfectly warm.

Finally, a parka that actually keeps up with real winter commutes — the fabric feels tough without that stiff, crinkly sound, and the length covers my hips nicely when the wind kicks up. Wore it through a sleet storm yesterday and stayed bone dry the whole walk.
