The zipper on this fleece runs smooth as butter, and the 3-in-1 system makes layering under my shell a total no-brainer. I've worn it on three chilly hikes so far and it breathes just right when I pick up the pace.

Finally found a fleece that actually layers smoothly under my hardshell without bunching up around the shoulders. The zipper glides easily, and it’s warm enough for chilly morning hikes without making me overheat by midday.

The zipper runs smoothly even over the fleece’s thicker seams, which surprised me. I’ve worn it under a shell on windy days and it keeps the chill off without feeling bulky. Only wish the cuffs were a touch tighter.
