Took this on a rainy ridge hike and stayed completely dry, even during a sudden downpour. The jacket packs down surprisingly small into my daypack without taking up much room.

I was skeptical about a lightweight jacket being truly waterproof, but after getting caught in a solid downpour on a ridge, this kept me completely dry. The TEXAPORE fabric feels breathable enough that I didn't overheat while scrambling up a rocky section.

The jacket packs down so small I forgot it was in my daypack until the wind picked up, and the TEXAPORE shell handled a solid hour of drizzle without a single damp spot. It's light enough to wear all day without feeling bulky, which is exactly what I wanted for unpredictable trail weather.
