The TEXAPORE fabric feels surprisingly breathable for a waterproof shell, I stayed dry even in a steady downpour on the trail. It packs down impressively small for a 2.5-layer jacket, easy to stash in my daypack. Exactly what I needed for variable mountain weather.

Packed this jacket into its own pocket for a day hike and it barely took up any space in my pack, but handled a surprise downpour without letting a drop through. The fabric feels surprisingly soft for a waterproof shell, too.

The TEXAPORE shell shrugged off a full afternoon of mountain drizzle without a single damp spot underneath. It breathes way better than my old rain jacket, and I barely noticed it in my pack once the sun came back out.
