The fleece lining is so soft that I actually look forward to putting it on when the temperature drops. It’s warm enough as a standalone on brisk mornings and layers perfectly under my shell without feeling bulky.

This fleece is heavier than I expected, which makes it perfect for just tossing on over a t-shirt on a freezing morning. The softness inside is really noticeable the second you put it on, too.

The sherpa lining is exactly why I keep grabbing this jacket—it’s warm enough for a chilly morning walk without feeling bulky, and the softness against my neck is a bonus. I’ve worn it as a midlayer under a shell on windy days, and it holds the heat in nicely without making me sweat.
