Really impressed with how warm this jacket is without feeling bulky. The Texatherm Pro filling kept me comfortable during a chilly morning hike, and the ripstop shell shrugged off a light drizzle without any soaking through. Feels like a solid piece of gear that'll last.

The recycled ripstop fabric held up perfectly during a surprise hailstorm on the trail, and I stayed bone-dry underneath. The insulation's warmth-to-weight ratio is impressive for such a packable jacket.

I finally got to test this in a steady drizzle and the outer fabric definitely beaded water nicely, keeping the insulation dry underneath. The only reason it’s not a 5-star is I wish the hood had a bit more structure to stay off my face in a gust.
