The adjustable hood is cleverly designed to stay put even in strong wind, and the fabric feels both durable and lightweight. I'm very impressed with how dry I stayed during a surprise hailstorm on my hike.

Took this out in a proper downpour and the TEXAPORE fabric just shrugged it off, while the fixed hood stayed put even in gusty wind. The adjustable hem let me cinch it tight when the rain came sideways, so I stayed bone dry the whole walk.

The hem adjustment is super intuitive, even with gloves on, and the jacket packs down small enough to stuff into a daypack without a fuss. It's kept me bone-dry through a solid hour of steady rain, which is exactly what I needed for commuting.
