I've been caught in two downpours this week and stayed completely dry both times, which is more than I can say for my old jacket. The freedom of movement is genuinely impressive for something this waterproof, and the windproof layer makes it perfect for windy city commutes.

Even after a full day in a steady downpour, the inside of this jacket stayed completely dry—the waterproofing really holds up. The articulated sleeves and windproof shell made cycling through the city feel unrestricted, no flapping or stiffness at all.

The sleeves are articulated just right so I can paddle without any restriction, and it breathed well enough during a brisk hike. Stayed completely dry through an hour of steady rain, which is all I really ask for from a shell.
