The stretch in the outer shell made a huge difference when I was reaching for my poles on the moguls. I wore just the insulated liner on the chairlift ride and it kept me warm without feeling bulky.

I was a little worried the stretch fabric might be too tight, but the TEXAPORE ECOSPHERE PRO STRETCH shell moves really well when I'm carving turns. The removable insulated jacket keeps me warm on the lift, then I just unzip it for the hike.

The removable quilted liner is a lifesaver when the temperature swings mid-day, and the outer shell kept me bone dry through a surprise snow squall. It moves well on the lift and doesn’t feel bulky, though the zipper took a few tries to get smooth. Solid all-around ski jacket.
